A big hole!

It's starting to get close to the end of the earthworks stage.  Now we can see the final extent of the cuts in the slope and the final levels of each the the floors.  I am surprised by the extent of the earthworks. The land is almost totally unrecognisable from the bush clad section it was a couple of weeks ago.   The cut for the ground floor shows the fill lying over the retaining wall, shown by the dark buried topsoil horizon located halfway down the cut face.

The view today from up the top was looking good today.  I will patch them together as in a panoramic.
